This area of dentistry includes curing caries and diseases of tooth pulp (nerv) which are caused by it. Caries is most common disease in oral cavity. Treatment of caries is depended on its expansion. Smaller damages are cared with dental fillings.

Bigger damages result in toothache and/or swelling. Because of this treatment of bigger caries destructions is more complex and demands root canal treatment.

Modern treatment methods for these diseases imply use of most recent generations of filling materials, use of nickel-titanium instruments, apex locators, endomotors and digital x-rays for appropriate results.
